Engel & Völkers Western Frontier opened the Missoula shop in the Fall of 2017 and quickly became the leading luxury real estate brokerage in Western Montana. In just 6 years shops are now open in Hamilton, Polson, Whitefish, Bigfork, Helena, Stevensville, Kalispell and Eureka providing comprehensive real estate services throughout Western Montana. In 2022 Engel & Völkers Western Frontier purchased the shops in Coeur d'Alene and Spokane expanding their reach and bespoke customer service throughout the Inland Northwest.

Coeur d'Alene is the largest city in North Idaho and a satellite city of Spokane, which is located about 30 miles to the west, in the state of Washington. The city sits on the north shore of the magnificent 30-mile Lake Coeur d'Alene, offering abundant recreational opportunities right in the heart of a vibrant, beautiful downtown.

The city of Coeur d'Alene has grown significantly in recent years, in part because of a substantial increase in tourism, encouraged by several resorts in the area. Broadcaster and media figure Barbara Walters called the city "a little slice of Heaven" and included it in her list of most fascinating places to visit. In November 2007, Good Morning America broadcast the city's Christmas lighting ceremony because its display is among the largest in the United States.

The Coeur d'Alene Resort and a 165 acre natural area called Tubbs Hill, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho take up a prominent portion of the city's downtown. There are several ski areas nearby: Silver Mountain Resort to the east in Kellogg, Lookout Pass Ski and Recreation Area to the west on Lookout Pass, and Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort to the north in Sandpoint. The largest theme and water park in the Northwest, Silverwood Theme Park, is located approximately 20 miles to the north.
